I Jailbroke(-breaked?) it again after hearing about Customize 2.0 and a new Ringtone App (the program I used didn't fuck up Youtube, either). Now NKOTB plays whenever someone calls and if that isn't gay enough, my signal strength bar is a rainbow. Now all I need is a decent AIM client and I will be one happy camper. I'm working on compiling a theme right now, I don't want my  phone to look like clown vomit forever.   Revel tonight with Lana! That is, if I can tear myself away from my computer. cut a hole in the sky [08 May 2008|07:18pm] jasonsho [ music | mr. lif - i phantom ] I am on the verge (22 hours-ish) from getting into a SWEET painting studio in 619 Western. This would mean you could come visit every first thursday. The place is amazing - 6th floor, 1400 sqft (divided by 4 people), about 60 ft of huge windows, private kitchen. Perfect! Then I can do my illustration at home and not worry about the oil paints mixing with our food and kittens (and that goddamn cat hair in my paintings). I have been secretly busy. In the past week I submitted 20-ish shirts to the guys who are trying to get them in stores. I probably need to keep the jokey ones away from the internet until they're out, but here's a hoodie print i came up with - i'm not even sure if they're going to be able to do it, but I always wanted this on my frigid torso. and i did this little 40 minute painting last friday. i've been doing boring (to you) stuff like painting color charts in the studio, but I'll have some fun and exciting paintings up before too long. The esteemed Joe Park gave a lunchtime talk about his work today. I really try to like his work. I frequently read about him mentioned as one of Seattle's best painters but I just don't see it - I spoke with him for a brief moment after the talk and was not floored. looking forward to the first non-killer weekend in a few weeks (was up until 5am sunday night working on various things the last 2 weeks). STSNC INSTRUMENTALS collects all of the short instrumental tracks that were used throughout the film, plus a few that didn't make the final cut, including the ringtones for some of the characters' cell phones.
